This is the cool church we stopped at for our pit stop. Isn't it beautiful? Thank goodness it was mutual night and open so we could check it out! And besides, it seems all the little towns shut down after 6 and I don't know where we would have stopped otherwise!
Our first destination: Barber's Buffalo Mountain in Star Valley. Here is the famous Buffalo marking the entrance. (it's famous because it sat in their driveway next door to us for a few days before they brought it up, and boy did it look out of place in our little Lehi!) Doesn't Corinne look like a model?
Here we are all together. Lucky for Corinne, Lu and Les were willing to oblige us doing this a few times when Corinne wanted to try a few times of setting the camera and running to get in place!!!
Daddy had to get a picture of Corinne with the real buffalo too.

Our next stop Jackson Hole. Here we are out shopping with a quick stop by the antler arches.
Here's a full shot of the arch for ya.
The lovely condos my sweet husband convinced the hotel lady to upgrade us to for no extra charge! Sure doesn't hurt to ask!!!
A nice view of the room, you can see my cute little Shane playing.
During some down time while Daddy was at his conference and we were playing in the room.
The pretty view from our room!
Leaving Wyoming and heading into Idaho we were going to take our "traditional" picture by the sign but we couldn't even get to it because of all the snow (of course, it looks like dirt in this picture because it's so dirty, but it really was snow)!!!
Here we are just looking from the car....

We had a nice stop in Rexburg on the way home. We enjoyed the park with our family and Corinne really loved the time she spent with her cousin Ashton!

And then you drove right past Idaho Falls without stopping to say "hi". But I guess that is okay, because we have driven past Lehi many times without saying "hi" either. Sounds like a fun little trip.
ReplyDeleteThat trip looked awesome. I need another trip... soon.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun trip. That antler arch is crazy.
