Our First Day in the Park!

The first day we had "big group syndrome" and learned an early mistake. By trying to stay together as a family, Corinne's first rides in Disneyland were Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion. Needless to say, my poor child was scared to death and became very tentative for a little while to go on any rides and always from there on after made note if the ride was "too dark" or "very scarry." Thankfully, her Third ride was Winnie the Pooh and she began to really like Disneyland. We were worried that she wouldn't like meeting the characters since they had scared her so bad when she was younger, but boy were we wrong! She loved giving them hugs, touching their fur, and taking pictures with them!

Note the loving hug from Corinne to Tigger!

Corinne could not stop petting Pooh when she first met him.

Finally we made it to Fantasy Land. Corinne always knew right where it was aftter that. Anytime she saw "her castle" she had to go in there and ride something. (especially the merry go round)

She had to check every little house and door and window and tell us "it's locked!"

Here she is on the famous tea cups. Lucky for me, Kordel held the cup MORE still instead of making it spin more (which would not have been good for the pregnant lady!)
You may have noticed the jackets. The first day it rained all morning. Poor Corinne was soaked to her knees. Daddy had to walk all the way back to the hotel for pants, shoes, and socks for her so she could warm up for the rest of the day! Lucky for us, one day of rain and then 2 REALLY HOT days!
