Halloween....WE LOVE IT!!!

Time for all the Halloween Festivities.  Only a few months late, but I'm now only 2 1/2 months behind after this!  Yeah!

First we had our fabulous ward Halloween Activity.  We had a blast and enjoy it every year.  It's always a big deal.  Kordel works with the scouts and they were in charge of a spook alley/haunted house.  Having someone who has access to coffins only makes it more fun!  Shane didn't really like being in his costume I'm afraid, and Corinne just ate up all the people telling her she was the most beautiful Snow White.

This is Corinne's Preschool Halloween Parade and Program.  They sang lots of cute songs and just plain looked adorable.  Corinne was quite shy and you couldn't hear her sing, but we know she knew the songs because we heard all of them over and over on Halloween.

The happy tradition of pumpkin carving at its best.  I enjoyed that Daddy is such a good sport and does most of it so I can take pics.  I just love my cute little family!  You can see the words to one of Corinne's favorite preschool Halloween songs.  It goes to the tune of "Are you sleeping?" or "Frera schaka"clearly I don't know French.

The much anticipated Halloween night!  Our ward gets into the celebration well here too!  Our neighbors do hot dogs, chips, and hot chocolate for the neighborhood, we go up to another area for scones (oh so yummy), we have another neighbor that gives out full size candy bars to the parents (glow in the dark jewelery for the kids), and another area for doughnuts.....my oh my! It sure is wonderful!  Corinne sang the whole time one of her "trick or treat" songs from preschool, ran into lots of her friends, AND got to trick or treat for about half a block with her friend Rachel.  Sooooo fun!

Shane also got to try out his first sucker dum dum.  He didn't know what to think, but he did keep trying it for a while.  He had fun at home with Dad sorting the candy by color and maybe letting Dad take the bowl away to give a trick or treater a treat.  He's so smart!  I keep thinking each year that I'll stay home so I can see each of my Sunbeams COME trick or treating, but Kordel is never half as excited as I am to go out with Corinne.  So OH WELL!!!
