Christmas Eve 2009

We had the festivities at our house for Christmas Eve.  It was casual and relaxing, nothing too stressful so it was quite nice and was only a couple of hours.  Both our families on each side were getting together AFTER Christmas, so this was just for whoever could come and wanted to.

We ate rolls with sandwiches, chips and stuff and after anyone could decorate sugar cookies that wanted some.  YUM!

Just hanging out and talking together like we normally do!

The Harker's sang us the Christmas Song from Polar Express.

Our attempt at a Nativity.  They sure are cute!

Kordel found a website where you could watch Santa slowly make progress around the world.  Pretty exciting!  Then we finished up watching Prep & Landing.  FUN!

After everyone left Corinne got to open 1 gift for Christmas Eve.  Shane was too tired and was already in bed asleep.  She was so excited to get the book she wanted.  After she opened it we asked her if she liked it and she said, "Yes, but who gave it to me?"  When I told her Mom and Dad I got a nice big hug.  awwww....

  1. Hey there guys!

Kordel, thanks for the comment a while back (like 6 months ago-sorry, I'm a little slow at replying). We definitely plan on taking many hops down to Okinawa-we heard it's not hard to get down there for FREE. We'll put the Battle of Okinawa tour on our things to do. Thanks for the suggestion---keep em coming. If you guys ever want to visit Japan...know that you have friends here that would love to have you visit and stay with us. Keep in touch!
